Kazakhstan becomes happiest country among CIS member states
Kazakhstan took 43rd place in the rating of the happiest countries in the world (World Happiness Report). Uzbekistan is 10 positions behind Kazakhstan in the rating and ranks 53rd, Russia is in 66th place, and Kyrgyzstan is in 75th place. This is reported by

Among Latin American countries Uruguay became the happiest state (29th place). Brazil was the 2nd (36th place). Compared to the 2024 ranking, Brazil overtook Chile (45th place) and Argentina (42nd place).
There are 147 countries in the list. The ranking is part of the World Happiness Report, published, which assesses social well-being in different countries. The study considers specific criteria such as GDP per capita, healthy life expectancy, social support, freedom of choice, generosity, and others.
