International Festival of Arts opens in Bolivia
The festival promises a packed programme
Bolivia’s Vice-Minister of Cultural Heritage and Creative Industries, Juan Carlos Cordero, has opened the 5th Santa Rosa de Cuevo 2025 International Arts Festival. This is reported by
Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.
“We are honoured to be part of this cultural event that brings together arts, people, cultures and their languages of expression,” Vice Minister said in the video message.
A unique feature of the festival is the residency of national and international artists who, in collaboration with the local community, present fresh and innovative artistic projects that promote intercultural and intracultural exchange.
Cordero stressed that such collaboration encompasses music, visual arts, theatre, dance, poetry, video, and film.
More than 100 artists from nine countries are taking part in this cultural event. The list of participants includes artists from Bolivia, Argentina, Cuba, and other countries.
The organisers stress that the main principle of the festival is to create art from what can be found in the environment.
