Brazil leads global ranking for industrial decarbonisation financing



Brazil will begin formulating an investment plan in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance

Brazil has secured the top position in the international selection process for industrial decarbonisation funding. This is reported by the
official website of Brazil’s Ministry of Mines and Energy.

Experts believe that Brazil’s high score was largely driven by the National Energy Transition Policy, developed by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). According to the source, this policy as a cornerstone of Brazil’s long-term industrial decarbonisation strategy, aligning climate targets with coherent public policies.

Minister of Mines and Energy Alexandre Silveira highlited tBrazil’s leadership in clean energy and biofuels.

“We are setting global benchmarks in renewable energy and energy transition, supported by robust regulatory frameworks that provide legal certainty for investors and help advance the decarbonisation of industry,” the minister stated.
