Speakers of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum announced
The business programme includes over 150 events
The XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held in St. Petersburg from 18 to 21 June 2025. The theme of this year’s event is “Shared Values: The Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World”. The official
website of the event published the line-up of speakers.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the forum participants. He stressed that the central place in the SPIEF programme is occupied by the issues of technology and digital transformation, creating a comfortable environment for life and self-fulfilment of people, demography and labour productivity, science and education, healthcare and social protection.

The organisers presented a rich business programme for SPIEF-2025, including more than 150 events and over 600 speakers and moderators. Among others, Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Energy, Mining and Renewable Energy of Algeria; Anton Siluanov, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation; Maksim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of Russia; Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport of Russia; Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Minister of Finance of Qatar; Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain; Eldar Alisherov, Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission; Aloysio Nunes Ferreira Filho, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, will speak at the forum.
SPIEF will feature discussions in five main areas: global economy, Russian economy, human capital development, ecology, and technology. Among the main events are the BRICS, SCO and EAEU business forums, the SME Forum, the Creative Industries Forum and the General Assembly of the Organisation of Information Agencies of Asia and the Pacific. A bright accent will be the youth programme: the International Economic Forum “Day of the Future” will bring together young entrepreneurs from more than 100 countries.
Last year over 21.8 thousand people from 139 countries took part in SPIEF. More than a thousand agreements were signed at the event. The forum is organised by the Roscongress Foundation.
