Iran hosts one of largest medical exhibitions in Middle East
The event brought together over 580 companies and became a platform for professional exchange
The international exhibition of medical, dental, pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment, “Iran Health 2025”, took place in Tehran. This was reported by
Mehr News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
Iran’s Senior Advisor and Deputy to the Minister of Health, Ali Jafarian, stated that “Iran Health” should become the most important medical event in the country and the region.
“’Iran Health’ is a platform for showcasing national capabilities, promoting innovation, and creating a competitive advantage at the regional level,” he said.
This year, the exhibition featured a wide range of advanced technologies, including AI-based medical devices, new digital solutions, and innovative diagnostic tools. Particular focus was placed on data security and the development of digital healthcare, one of Iran’s key priorities.
At the opening ceremony, 18 new domestically produced items were unveiled: from automated haematology analysers to high-precision diagnostic tests and modern medical implants.
“Despite economic challenges, the medical equipment industry is showing significant growth and readiness to compete internationally,” said Mohammad Amin Keshavarz, Special Advisor and Inspector of the Development Division at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.
The exhibition also served as a platform for technology entrepreneurship experts, who assisted companies in accessing new markets.
