AlUla province in Saudi Arabia is establishing itself as a prominent agricultural destination, producing over 1,000 tonnes of mangoes annually thanks to more than 50,000 trees planted across the region.

Saudi Press Agency, a partner of TV BRICS, citing figures from the the Royal Commission for AlUla.
Popular local mango varieties include “Zebda”, “Senara”, and “Keitt”, known for their high quality and distinctive flavour, which reflect the region’s fertile soil and favourable climate.
The mango harvest season in AlUla extends from July to September, making it an attractive destination for lovers of seasonal fruit and visitors to local farms.
According to the source, the Royal Commission continues its efforts to support farmers and modernise agricultural practices. These initiatives include upgrading agricultural infrastructure, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing food security, all while preserving the region’s unique natural and cultural heritage.
