Iran’s junior shooting team claimed the gold medal in the 10-metre air pistol team event on the opening day of the Asian Shooting Championships, currently taking place in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. This was reported by

The trio of Mohammad Reza Ahmadi, Amir Hossein Johari, and Mohammad Mahdi Jobin secured first place with a combined score of 1721 points. India followed closely behind with a team score of 1716 to take silver.
In the individual competition, Ahmadi captured the bronze medal with a solid final performance. His teammates, Johari and Jobin, finished in fourth and fifth places respectively, rounding off a successful day for the Iranian delegation.
