From 3 to 7 September 2025, the 38th Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) will be held in Pavilion 57 of VDNH. TV BRICS is the international media partner of the event.
India will be the guest of honour at the fair. The country’s stand will host more than 50 events dedicated to technology, artificial intelligence, yoga, Ayurveda, poetry, dance, and translation. The programme will feature over 70 speakers from India and Russia, and books from more than 50 Indian publishers will be presented in the official languages of the republic and in Russian. The country’s stand is equipped with an interactive centre, a meditation room and themed areas dedicated to culture, art, literature, cinema, cuisine, and tourism.
This space has been organised with the support of the National Book Trust (NBT) India, the Ministry of Education and the Government of the Republic, the country’s embassy in Moscow, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre, the Sahitya Akademi, and Indian publishers.
TV BRICS partner Ves Mir Publishers, represented by its director Oleg Zimarin, is participating in the fair’s programme.
Popular Russian writers and journalists will speak at the event, as well as Aleksander Auzan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Special attention will be paid to children’s and youth literature. Presentations, lectures, competitions and interactive platforms are expected, including the “Toys from Childhood” festival and “Multischool of Tsvetnyashki” master classes.
The business programme includes more than 20 professional events with the participation of publishers, book distributors, editors, librarians and government officials. The key event will be the Russian Book Market conference, organised by the Russian Book Union in conjunction with the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
