More than 20 cooperation agreements signed following meeting between Chinese and Russian leaders

Moscow and Beijing have signed more than 20 cooperation agreements following talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The documents cover the fields of energy, artificial intelligence, agriculture, aerospace, healthcare, science, education, and the media. This is reported by the official
website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Xi Jinping expressed his readiness for closer high-level contacts with Russia and coordination on key issues affecting the interests of both countries. He also stressed that the parties intend to expand ties in the United Nations (UN), the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), BRICS, the Group of Twenty (G20), and other multilateral platforms.

Putin, in turn, congratulated the Chinese side on the successful holding of the SCO summit in Tianjin. According to him, the meeting, at which the leaders made a number of important decisions, gave a powerful impetus to the development of the organisation.
