TV BRICS expands cooperation with China in vocational education

TV BRICS together with its Chinese partners intends to develop projects in the field of vocational education, as well as exchange experience, and establish expert cooperation.

The relevant agreement was signed by TV BRICS Executive Producer Kristina Muravyova and Vice-President of Tianjin University of Technology and Education Li Jing during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Vocational Education Forum. The forum is being held as part of the official programme of the SCO summit in China in 2025.

TV BRICS will provide media support for projects at Tianjin University of Technology and Education, conduct international teleconferences and engage the teaching staff of the educational institution as experts.

The International Media Network will also participate in the work of the Vocational Education Development Think-Tank for SCO Countries, which operates under the China-SCO Vocational Education Cooperation Centre at Tianjin University of Technology and Education.

The activities of the China-SCO Vocational Education Cooperation Centre are aimed at expanding international cooperation, conducting research in the field of vocational education, improving the qualifications of teachers, and developing an international certification system.

“In order for us to talk about creating an economic system that is beneficial to all segments of society in the SCO countries, we must talk about the birth of a new system of education, training, and integration into the economy. And, of course, we must talk about the need for a new approach to information coverage and promotion in the global media space of such values as labour, professional affiliation, craftsmanship, and the inventive potential of generations. It is precisely this system of information promotion of a creative agenda, which undoubtedly includes all of the above aspects, that has been developed and is being implemented today by the TV BRICS International Media Network, which has established a news exchange between the national media of the BRICS countries, the SCO, and the Global South as a whole,” said TV BRICS Executive Producer Kristina Muravyova during the forum.
