
The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was held in Beijing, focusing on cutting-edge technologies that could transform industries around the world, according to
CGTN, a partner of TV BRICS.
This year, CIFTIS focused on the application of new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to improve industries such as healthcare, education and finance. Companies from around the world demonstrated how these innovations can improve service delivery.
There was a strong focus on smart technologies, including AI and automation, which are playing a key role in modernising industries such as urban management.
Moreover, one exhibit featured the world’s first AI- and robotics-integrated smart operating system for orthopaedic surgery. This system incorporates intelligent diagnostics, preoperative planning, 5G remote connectivity, and robotic precision in surgical procedures.
According to the source, China’s goal for this event was to use technological advances to improve services, promote multilateral trade, and find solutions to global issues.

Organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the fair aims to promote international trade in services and showcase China’s innovations and technological advancements.
