Expert: China’s Global Governance Initiative promotes system based on fairness and inclusiveness

In an interview with the
Global Times, a partner of TV BRICS, Abbas Jawad Kdaimy, translator of the Arabic edition of “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China”, said that China’s Global Governance Initiative (GGI) is grounded in the country’s history, culture, economic achievements, and institutional capacity.

Kdaimy noted that the GGI “emphasises the establishment of a fair, rational and inclusive global governance system” where all countries, regardless of size or development level, can participate equally.

According to Kdaimy, China’s rapid development and its ability to deliver large-scale projects – such as the Belt and Road Initiative, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway – demonstrate its practical capacity to support shared growth.

He stressed that the GGI works in synergy with the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilisation Initiative, forming a coherent framework. This broader approach, he said, complements China’s active role in multilateral platforms including BRICS, the SCO, the UN and, the G20.

Looking ahead, Kdaimy underlined that the future implementation of the Global Governance Initiative will benefit from wider international participation. He called on Arab states to enhance cooperation with China through the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.

“By aligning their development strategies, deepening practical collaboration and promoting mutually beneficial outcomes, Arab countries can contribute to the effective implementation of the initiative,” he said.
