Brazil launches free online environmental courses

The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change of Brazil (MMA) has launched a new educational platform offering free courses on ecology and the climate agenda. The announcement was published on the
official website of the Government of Brazil.

It is noted that the project provides access to educational resources, including a news page, a materials library and a repository. The platform is designed for a wide audience and aims to promote continuous education in the field of ecology.

Currently, two courses are available: one on integrating environmental principles into public administration and another on tools for strengthening sustainable development. Both courses can be completed until the end of January 2026.

An additional course on innovative approaches in public administration to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals will be launched soon. The programme includes 40 hours of study and offers a certificate upon completion.

According to ministry representatives, the initiative will help strengthen cooperation between the public sector, academia and society in addressing climate challenges.
