Iran expands information exchange with foreign countries through TV BRICS

The Islamic Republic of Iran is expanding content exchange with BRICS+ countries through TV BRICS. A new partner that has joined cooperation with the media network is one of Iran’s leading state news agencies, Nour News. The cooperation agreement was signed by the Director General of the Iranian media, Maryam Salimi Namin, and the CEO of TV BRICS, Janna Tolstikova.

With the support of the TV BRICS International Media Network, Iran receives an effective opportunity to promote its humanitarian and business agenda abroad, while at the same time providing the audience of the Republic with up-to-date and reliable information about the activities of other BRICS member states and partner countries of the group.

“For Nour News, the start of cooperation with the TV BRICS International Media Network is a new opportunity to promote truthful, objective information, free from distortions and intermediaries. Our goal is to contribute to expanding cooperation in the field of media communications on the principles of equality and based on common interests for the sake of building a more just, sustainable, and peaceful future. We hope that joint work with TV BRICS will open new opportunities for BRICS+ countries to become acquainted with Iranian culture, literature and the rich humanitarian heritage of our country. And at the same time it will allow us to become more deeply involved in global cultural, economic and political experience,” said the Director General of Nour News, Maryam Salimi Namin.

Nour News, was founded in 2019. Its headquarters is located in Tehran. The media specialises in covering events in the fields of domestic politics, international relations, the economy, social life, security, media literacy, and the development of culture and sport. It operates in six languages: Persian, Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew.
