Russia marked World Quality Day, celebrated annually on the second Thursday of November. This year, the Quality Week was held under the motto “Russia – a country with the Quality Mark”, and the central event was the international forum “World Quality Day – 2025”.
A total of 280 speakers took part in 46 forum sessions, and around 800 guests attended the in-person events. As part of the business programme, participants discussed the improvement of business processes and enhancing their efficiency, digitalisation, and improving the quality of goods and services in a wide range of fields – from food products to tourism.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting the strategic importance of the issue of quality and the broad meaning of the term.
“Traditionally, the forum provides an opportunity to discuss comprehensive work aimed at improving the efficiency of business process management and enhancing the consumer properties of goods. These two factors are closely linked, and their combination is a competitive advantage in the fight for customer trust and the optimisation of costs. For this reason, every year more Russian companies pay increased attention to introducing corporate standards, employ automation and digitalisation tools at all stages of the product life cycle, implement proactive control systems, adopt predictive analytics tools, and also develop technologies,” he said.
The key event of the business programme was the plenary session “Quality Vectors”. Experts discussed strategic guidelines and mechanisms of interdepartmental cooperation for building a cohesive national quality policy for the coming decade. The discussion involved, among others, representatives of specialised organisations from China, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
One of the main ceremonial events of the forum was the presentation of awards to the winners of the All-Russian competition “Leader of Quality”, aimed at identifying and supporting the best specialists in quality management, implementing innovative solutions, promoting best practices in the field of quality, and developing a culture of quality in practice.
In addition, the first federal award for client service leaders, “Service-Country”, was presented. The main goal of the award is to unite entrepreneurs, experts, partners and the community to improve the culture of client service throughout Russia.
The TV BRICS International Media Network acted as the international information partner of the event.
