The head of the Russian state noted that in the area of agriculture there is a surplus in favour of Indonesia. Putin also emphasised that tourist flows are increasing on both sides. This is facilitated by direct air services as well as visa service benefits.
Separately, the President added that Russia is very pleased with Indonesia’s accession to BRICS as a full member of the group. Negotiations are also under way with the Republic and the EAEU on the creation of a free trade zone.
Prabowo Subianto, for his part, confirmed the active development of the dialogue.

The Indonesian President also invited Vladimir Putin to pay an official visit to Jakarta in 2026 or 2027. The Russian leader accepted the invitation.
The meeting took place in the year marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
