
The United Arab Emirates has concluded its participation in the Asian Youth Para Games with a total of 23 medals, marking a strong national performance at the multi-sport event held in Dubai. This is reported by

The host team collected six gold, eight silver, and nine bronze medals by the close of competitions, which concluded at Dubai Festival City. The Games brought together around 1,500 young athletes from 35 countries, underscoring the growing scale and importance of youth parasport across Asia.
The Dubai 2025 edition stood out for its high competitive standards, with 25 records broken during the event, including nine world records and 16 Asian records. The achievements added to the tournament’s reputation as one of the most memorable editions, showcasing inspirational performances and a new generation of elite para athletes.
Uzbekistan topped the overall medals table with a total of 197 medals, including 99 gold, 57 silver, and 41 bronze, followed by strong showings from several other national teams.
During the closing ceremony, the flag of the Asian Youth Para Games was officially handed over to Cambodia, which will host the next edition. The transition symbolised the continuity of the Games and the shared commitment to developing inclusive sport across the region.
Officials from the Asian Paralympic movement praised the organisation of the Dubai Games, highlighting their role in promoting youth development, inclusivity, and excellence in para sport. The event was widely seen as a platform for nurturing future Paralympic champions and strengthening sporting ties among Asian nations.
