
Iran and Uzbekistan are moving to a new stage of scientific cooperation. The Iran National Science Foundation has announced the launch of a second joint call to support bilateral research projects involving scientists from both countries, reports

According to the foundation, up to 10 joint research projects are expected to receive support. Researchers from Iran and Uzbekistan are invited to submit proposals in priority research areas agreed upon by the two sides.
The initiative is being implemented within the framework of scientific cooperation between the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) and the Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Officials note the programme aims to strengthen international scientific cooperation, improve research quality and make more effective use of the scientific and technological potential of both countries.
