ANC Eastern Cape Provincial Secretary Lulama Ngcukayithobi says a letter circulating stating that he has resigned is fake.
The letter stated that he is resigning for a number of reasons, such as a lack of organisational discipline.
Ngcukayithobi told the SABC that the letter is fake.
“The first of April is around the corner, I’m certain that they’ve started fooling people around, otherwise I would not have resigned as the provincial secretary of the ANC. We were preparing for the conference, unfortunately, the conference could not proceed, so I remain the provincial secretary, until otherwise. The signature is mine, but the letter itself is a purported letter. I have not written a letter, I have not signed it, and unfortunately, I’m certain that it’s people that are manipulating the news and AI systems,” Ngcukayithobi says.
