
The
India Day festival will take place at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow from 20 to 23 August 2026. Under the theme “Unity of Cultures – Friendship of Peoples”, the organisers will bring together a diverse programme across several venues.
The festival will feature 20 special zones where guests can learn more about yoga, chess, Indian weddings, dance, Ayurveda and other aspects of Indian culture. Around 75 yoga schools from across Russia, as well as instructors from other countries, will demonstrate their skills. More than 200 Indian and Russian dancers will showcase the beauty of the art of dance. Festival-goers will be able to sample authentic Indian cuisine at masterclasses, in restaurants and in shops.
In addition, the BRICS Pre-Summit Business Forum will take place at Gostiny Dvor on 20 August. The event will bring together representatives from business, government bodies and financial institutions to discuss practical cooperation within BRICS. The main topics of the forum will be trade and investment, regional partnerships, innovation and technology, logistics, and tourism, as well as cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of international business ties.
