Tunisia’s Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation has analysed the skills required by the electronics sector and identified five professional fields for workforce training. This was reported by Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP), a partner of TV BRICS.
At the same time, Tunisia plans to modernise its electronics industry and attract investment in high-tech manufacturing.
The authorities’ efforts are in line with Tunisia’s industry and innovation strategy up to 2035. The initiative is being implemented with the involvement of the country’s Ministry of Industry, Mining and Energy.
The sector’s development is expected to help create new jobs and strengthen Tunisia’s position in the international market for electronic systems.
