Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has
launched the Electronic Platform for Agricultural Innovation, designed to connect startups, investors, and innovation hubs in order to drive technological development across agricultural production chains.
Designed as both a launchpad and showcase for agricultural innovation, the platform offers multilingual access, AI-driven tools, and customised navigation for startups, investors, and research environments.
Brazilian authorities emphasised that it seeks to make Brazil a global reference for open innovation, fostering connections, partnerships, and solutions that add value to agribusiness.
According to officials, it encourages collaboration, strengthens innovation ecosystems, supports policy development, and helps solve challenges facing Brazil’s agribusiness sector.
So far, 15 states have signed cooperation protocols to promote innovation through the platform, including Para, Mato Grosso, Goias, Ceara, Bahia, Parana, and Rio Grande do Sul.
