Brazil wins four medals at 2025 Rhythmic Pan American Championships



The country received three quotas to participate in the world championships in this sport

Brazil won four medals at the 2025 Rhythmic Pan American Championships in Asuncion. The main success came in the team competition: the national team won gold in the group all-around. This is reported by

It is noted that Brazilian gymnast Barbara Domingos took second place in the individual all-around competition. Geovanna Santos came third. Thanks to the results of these athletes, the national team won a silver medal in the team competition.

The Brazilian team that won the group all-around competition consisted of Julia Kurunczi, Lavinia Silverio, Keila Santos, Mariane Giovacchini, Maria Fernandes Moraes and Rhayane Brum. The average age of the athletes is 17.

They scored 47,000 points and confidently beat the Canadian team, which took second place with a score of 41,200 points.

As a result of the competition, Brazil received three quotas to participate in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro from 20 to 24 August 2025.
