The Brazil Women’s Futsal National Team secured their third title at the Xanxere International Tournament after a thrilling 2–0 victory over Colombia in the final.
The win not only marked another trophy for the squad but also served as a strong step in their preparations for the inaugural FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, set to take place in the Philippines later this year.
Colombia finished as runners-up, while Morocco claimed the bronze medal after a narrow 3–2 win over Guatemala in the third-place play-off.
According to the Brazilian government
website, the tournament was made possible through funding from the Ministry of Sport, in partnership with the Xanxere City Council. The collaboration ensured the necessary infrastructure for the event, covering logistics, accommodation, and transport for the competing teams.
