Brazilian President and Chinese Foreign Minister discuss increased cooperation in key areas
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva held a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during which the two sides expressed their willingness to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation in key areas. This is reported by

The Brazilian leader noted that relations between the two countries are built on strong mutual trust and are an example of successful South-South cooperation. He emphasised the importance of further developing trade and economic ties, as well as expanding partnership in finance, energy, and high technology.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said China is ready to implement the agreements reached between the two leaders and strengthen the strategic partnership with Brazil. He said Beijing also intends to intensify cooperation within the BRICS framework and with other countries in the Global South, upholding the principles of multilateralism.
