Brazil’s banks improve their GDP growth forecast for 2024

Experts expect the figures to increase to 2 per cent

Brazil’s GDP growth in 2024 will be due to the partial recovery of industry, debt repayment, improvement in the labour market and credit.

Fernando Haddad, Brazil’s finance minister, is convinced of an upturn in the country’s economy of more than 2 per cent. The Economic Policy Secretariat estimates GDP growth at 2.3 per cent.

Central Bank President Roberto Campos Neto offers an optimistic forecast for a possible GDP growth above 2 per cent. This is reported by
Brasil 247, a partner of TV BRICS .

Thanks to the positive dynamics in the economy, the country’s quarterly GDP growth will be between 0.3 and 0.5 per cent in 2024.
