BRICS Industrial Competencies Matchmaking Event will take place on 28 May 2026 in Xiamen, China. The forum will bring together companies, industry leaders and institutional stakeholders from BRICS countries to discuss cooperation opportunities in key industrial sectors and establish new business partnerships.
The programme includes business matchmaking sessions and B2B meetings aimed at helping participants identify potential partners and explore opportunities for joint projects and market expansion.
Discussions will focus on automation and smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence and data-driven industry, energy systems and sustainable production, advanced engineering, and electronic information technologies.
Speaking about the practical objectives of the platform, Aleksey Savrasov, Industrial Development Officer, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), noted that the event is intended to simplify direct business engagement between companies and institutions across BRICS countries.

The event is organised by the BRICS Centre for Industrial Competencies (BCIC) and hosted by the China Center for BRICS Industrial Competencies (CCBIC) in cooperation with BCIC partners. The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) is co-hosting the forum.
