The broadcast of the BRICS Summit of heads of state in Delhi will be available to TV BRICS users. Live coverage from the meeting venue will be provided by the international media network’s partner in India – the country’s largest public service broadcaster,
Prasar Bharati. The broadcast will be available via this
link, as well as on the TV BRICS website.
The 18th BRICS Summit will take place in New Delhi on 12–13 September 2026. The meeting will bring together leaders of BRICS member and partner countries, as well as invited countries. India’s Chairship is being held under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainability”. The Summit is expected to address the strengthening of cooperation within BRICS, the shared priorities of the group’s countries, as well as current issues on the international and regional agenda.
The live broadcast of the Summit will be one example of practical cooperation between TV BRICS and Prasar Bharati. The Indian broadcaster joined the international media network’s group of partners in 2025. The parties agreed to exchange content and facilitate the dissemination of information about BRICS activities.
Prasar Bharati is India’s largest public service broadcaster. It comprises the Doordarshan television network, the Akashvani radio network, the WAVES OTT platform and the PB-SHABD news service. Its broadcasting infrastructure reaches 98 per cent of the country’s population.
