China and Egypt hold meeting to attract foreign investment

A group of Chinese investors visited the city of New Beni Suef as part of a strategy to attract foreign investment.

The visit aims to discuss possible Chinese investments in the city, as part of the overall endeavour to attract foreign investment for the country’s development. This is reported by

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities, Assem El-Gazzar gave an overview of New Beni Suef city’s strategic location near the provincial capital and Cairo, its developed infrastructure and the availability of labour for potential investors. During the meeting, various types of investments including industry, services, housing and recreation were discussed.

The head of the Chinese delegation promised to meet in China to further strengthen cooperation between the countries.
