China launches special platform to help businesses enter overseas markets

A platform designed to help Chinese businesses enter markets in other countries has been launched in Xiamen (eastern China). It is expected to expand Chinese businesses’ access to markets in BRICS+ countries. This was reported by
Belt and Road News Network (BRNN), a partner of TV BRICS.

The platform operates with a dedicated session for each country. Thematic events are planned, including briefings on foreign policy, presentations by specialist service providers, and the exchange of experience on entering foreign markets – all of which will help identify offers that match demand, ensuring win-win outcomes for bilateral trade and economic cooperation and a continuous improvement in the standard and quality of services.

“We will coordinate our work with official bodies, including the foreign embassies and consulates of BRICS countries in China, foreign investment promotion agencies and chambers of commerce. We will invite foreign delegations to hold face-to-face negotiations at the BRICS Centre for Industrial Competencies (BCIC) and a one-stop service centre for access to overseas markets, thereby establishing an official channel of interaction for Chinese enterprises entering the global market,” said Ke Haitao, Deputy Director of the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Centre (BRICS PartNIR Innovation Centre), outlining the plans.

The BRICS Innovation Centre has signed an agreement with a commercial company to collaborate on entering overseas markets. The parties have agreed to deepen cooperation in the areas of information exchange, business networking and investment services.
