
A delegation from the Arab Federation for Digital Economy has held a series of meetings with senior Chinese officials across several provinces, resulting in the signing of a number of memorandum of understanding and agreements with major Chinese institutions and companies.
According to the
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS, the aim of the meetings was to strengthen cooperation in digital trade, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and technological innovation.
The agreements with the Chinese side covered several areas, most notably collaboration in developing stable digital currencies, establishing regional federation centres, and organising specialised events in data and technological innovation.
Chinese officials also expressed their readiness to support Arab projects in digital transformation, as well as to enhance cooperation in establishing advanced data centres and developing smart infrastructure.
The report stressed that these initiatives are intended to strengthen the position of Arab economies in the global digital system and to achieve sustainable development, in line with the Arab vision for the digital economy.
