A scientific and technological exhibition dedicated to ginseng production has opened in Changchun. The event was organised by the authorities of Jilin Province and local research institutions, reports
Northeast Asia Today, a partner of TV BRICS.

It is noted that 33 new developments related to the cultivation, processing, and application of ginseng were presented at the exhibition. These innovations were showcased by Jilin University, Changchun University of Chinese Medicine, Jilin Agricultural University, and other scientific organisations.

Among the exhibits were a system for identifying wild ginseng and a digital model designed to interact with data about the plant. During the event, several cooperation agreements were also signed between research centres and companies engaged in the sale and promotion of ginseng-based products.

According to the organisers, the aim of the exhibition is to support the development of the industry and bring new technologies to market.
