China’s Harbin to host festival-fair “Made in Russia”

This is the fifth festival that the Russian Export Centre is holding in China

The festival-fair “Made in Russia” will be held from 17 to 21 May in Harbin, organised by the Russian Export Centre (REC). The event will be held at the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair and will continue the “Season of Russian Gifts” concept. TV BRICS is a partner of the REC.

The fair will present products of more than 100 Russian manufacturers from 35 regions of Russia. This year visitors will be able to get acquainted with food products, beverages, dietary supplements, as well as jewellery and souvenirs, which will be presented in Harbin for the first time. Special attention is paid to cosmetics from domestic manufacturers, which will be a point of attraction of the festival.

In addition, a tasting zone will be organised at the event, where guests will be able to sample products and purchase them through Chinese marketplaces. One of the novelties will be a cyber zone where Russian IT developments and game industry projects will be presented for evaluation by Chinese visitors.

A business programme is planned, which includes meetings between Russian and Chinese companies to discuss opportunities for cooperation and launch joint projects.

The festival is timed to coincide with the Dragon Boat Festival, one of the most significant events in Chinese culture, which symbolises the coming of summer and is accompanied by traditional dragon boats.

The REC and the TV BRICS International Media Network signed a cooperation agreement earlier to provide information support for Russian export projects in the BRICS+ countries. Through the TV BRICS platform, foreign audiences receive information about the development of entrepreneurial activity in Russia and the promotion of products under the “Made in Russia” brand.
