Chinese and Brazilian leaders to meet in Beijing
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing in May. This is reported by
Brasil 247, a partner of TV BRICS.
Together with the Brazilian leader, a business delegation will travel to Beijing, which will be an important step in strengthening trade ties between the two countries.
Lula da Silva will also attend the China-CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries) forum, where the two sides will discuss cooperation in the region.
It is noted that the Brazilian president’s trip to China will take place after his visit to Moscow, where he will take part in celebrations dedicated to the Victory Day.
Xi Jinping visited Brazil with a state visit on 17 November 2024, the arrival coincided with the 19th G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro.
