Diplomacy exhibition in Ethiopia plays a big role in raising awareness among citizens and the diplomatic community

Every citizen has a role to play in strengthening Ethiopia’s position as the diplomatic centre of Africa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said

According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Meles Alem, the diplomacy week and the exhibition that lasted for the past two weeks played an important role in informing citizens and the diplomatic community.

He added that the exhibition, which was supposed to close tomorrow, has been extended. This is reported by
ENA, a partner of TV BRICS.

The extension of the exhibition will provide ample opportunity for African brothers and sisters to attend the upcoming 37th Summit of African Heads of State and Government.

The spokesperson announced that the 44th Ordinary Session of the African Union Executive Council will be held from 14 to 15 February and the 37th Summit will be held from 17 to 18 February 2024 in Addis Ababa.

As the seat of the African Union and defender of Pan-Africanism, Ethiopia has made the necessary preparations for the success of the conference.

Meles said the preparatory committee for the assembly co-operated with the African Union and made the necessary arrangements.

The spokesman said the assembly will be an opportunity to promote best practices in areas such as agriculture and tourism as well as the green heritage initiative.
