Dubai has been ranked among the world’s top four cities for financial technology, according to a recent international benchmarking study of leading financial hubs. This is reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
The ranking was based on assessments by thousands of financial and technology experts worldwide, as well as a range of economic indicators. In terms of overall financial centre performance, which includes trade, regulation, and broader financial services, Dubai was placed 11th globally.
At the same time, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) announced that the number of artificial intelligence, fintech, and innovation companies operating within its ecosystem has surpassed 1,500, making it the largest cluster of its kind in the region. These firms have collectively attracted more than US$4.2 billion in investment.
Officials highlighted that this progress directly supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to position the emirate among the world’s top four global financial centres.
