Hundreds of students present social projects at “MediaGame” Festival at RSUH

The International Student Festival of Social Projects “MediaGame – 2025” has concluded at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH). The event brought together hundreds of participants from various regions of Russia and from abroad.

Participants presented more than 600 works across six categories: “Photo”, “Video”, “Audio”, “Poster”, “Text”, and “Integrated social project”. The project themes addressed ecology, inclusion, cultural identity, volunteering, and the preservation of historical memory.

During the festival, master classes and meetings with experts were held, where participants shared their experience of how to turn a creative idea into a sustainable social project. Svetlana Afonina, Chair of the Board of the Investments in the Future Education and Sport Charitable Foundation, noted that even one-off assistance makes a contribution to the development of society; Igor Zatevakhin spoke about working with content and opinion leaders in developing a social project; and Maria Sikorskaya discussed combining business with a cultural mission.

The festival jury paid particular attention to the practical value and real social impact of the initiatives presented. Winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, festival statuettes and gifts from partners, including the TV BRICS International Media Network, which served as the international information partner of the event.

The festival was organised by the Faculty of Marketing and Advertising and the Faculty of Media Communications of RSUH with the support of the university’s Department for Youth Affairs. The aim of the festival is to create a platform for dialogue on social initiatives, media tools and the responsibility of young authors to society. It seeks to promote students’ professional growth and the formation of an active civic stance among young people.
