Indian city ranks among top 10 centres for artificial intelligence development
Asia is home to 5 out of 10 such locations
India’s Bangalore has been ranked 7th in the list of 10 largest artificial intelligence (AI) development centres in the world, reports
IANS, a partner of TV BRICS, citing analysts’ data. It is noted that the city currently has about 750 AI startups.
Experts also recognised the city as one of the world leaders in terms of the number of AI research institutes.
The report mentions that China has 6 AI research institutes.
The city that invests the most in the development of such technologies and has many AI-related jobs is considered as the centre of AI development.
Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country is working on creating a global structure for AI.
