India’s shooters delivered a commanding performance at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, racking up a total of 50 medals. This was reported by

Standout performances came from Neeru Dhanda, who clinched gold in the women’s trap event, and the junior women’s 25m pistol team of Payal Khatri, Naamya Kapoor, and Tejaswini, who swept the individual podium with gold, silver, and bronze respectively.
Neeru secured her win in style, hitting all 10 of her final targets to finish with 43 hits, ahead of Qatar’s Ray Bassil. The Indian trio also took team gold in trap, finishing 18 points clear of China.
With two days remaining, India leads the medal table with 28 gold, 10 silver, and 12 bronze medals.
