Indonesian teams dominate Esports World Cup in Riyadh
Eighteen teams from around the world competed in the Free Fire battle royale tournament
Indonesian team EVOS Divine emerged victorious in the second week of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, as it claimed the championship title in the Free Fire battle royale tournament. This was reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Competing against 17 other teams from around the globe, EVOS Divine topped the standings after five days of intense matches at the Qiddiya Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City.
The grand final consisted of 10 matches, with five teams in contention for the title until the very end. EVOS Divine ultimately secured victory with 170 points, earning them the winner’s shieldand and 1,000 points toward the overall Esports World Cup club rankings.
Indonesia’s dominance didn’t end there. The RRQ Kazu team secured second place with 123 points, earning 750 club points. Another Indonesian team, Bigetron by Vitality, finished third with 500 points. Brazil’s LOS came in fourth, collecting 300 points.
