Over US$20 million worth of deals are expected to be concluded at the expo. This is reported by

ZimTrade CEO, Mr Allan Majuru, said the ultimate objective of Zimbabwe’s participation in this African trade fair was to increase the country’s presence on the African continent.

He pointed that the demand for local goods and services in Zimbabwe has increased in recent years, thanks to the successful economic diplomacy programme of the Second Republic, which focuses on developing economic relations with all countries on the continent.

Zimbabwe’s participation in this exhibition will build on the successful experience of previous exhibitions held in South Africa which attracted deals worth $15 million.
