Tehran has launched a strategic initiative to harness artificial intelligence in tackling the energy imbalance, with six national-scale AI megaprojects now in development. This is reported by

Experts emphasised the need for nationwide collaboration, particularly from knowledge-based firms, to ensure successful implementation.

The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is now actively promoting an ecosystem-based approach that fosters data-sharing and cooperation among public agencies, the source claims.

The six AI megaprojects include a flagship programme for energy management, which will deploy intelligent algorithms to detect and reduce excessive energy consumption in the industrial sector.

The initiative is expected to enhance infrastructure resilience and strengthen national technological sovereignty.
