New protocols have been signed with China for the export of poultry meat and cattle hides. Negotiations are also underway to expand supplies of horse meat, dried mare’s milk, chilled beef, lamb, pork and heat-treated products.

Trade relations with Asian countries are actively developing. Negotiations are underway with Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries in the region.

According to the ministry, 3,652 Kazakh enterprises are included in the registers of foreign countries, including nine new exporters in June alone. There are 3,292 enterprises in the livestock sector registered in the registers of the EAEU countries.

To expand access to the Chinese market, 12 protocols defining export conditions have been signed between the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.

In addition, Kazakhstan is participating in the development of uniform rules in the field of veterinary medicine within the EAEU.
