On April 3-4, 2024, the Moscow exhibition complex Expocentre will host a park forum uniting several industry projects. These are the first International Park Forum of BRICS countries, the IV International Exhibition and Conference on creation, maintenance and development of comfortable urban environment, recreation parks, public spaces and specially protected natural areas ParkSeason Expo and the first All-Russian meeting of park directors.

The park forum will be attended by representatives of most regions, including heads of city and regional administrations, heads of ministries and departments, park directors of the country and united park directorates. Representatives of government organisations and experts from such countries as China, Brazil, South Africa, Egypt, India, Ethiopia, Iran, UAE, as well as special guests from Belarus and Qatar will speak at the event. For the first time in Russia, an educational programme for managers of park institutions will be held. The main international media partner of the event is TV BRICS.

The event is organised by the Russian Parks Association with the assistance of the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation, as well as with the support of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and other governmental structures and professional associations. This year the initiative of the I International BRICS Parks Forum was also supported by the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.

ParkSeason Expo is traditionally the most significant business event of the park industry, as well as the largest industry B2G-platform. Every year more than 4 thousand delegates representing the professional community receive accreditation for participation. Sections of the exhibition exposition are traditionally devoted to the most topical issues of creating a comfortable urban environment.

During the conference there will be an awarding ceremony for the winners of the first All-Russian Park Award “Parks of Russia” in 23 nominations in the categories “Park of the Year” and “Company of the Year”. The award was established by the Russian Parks Association together with the Ministry of Construction, the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation and the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government.
