The meeting between Mauro Vieira and Diana Mondino focused on strengthening bilateral relations and regional co-operation. Mondino handed Vieira a letter addressed to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva inviting him to the inauguration of Milei. The letter also emphasised the importance of cooperation and strengthening ties between the countries.

Vieira emphasised the importance of the meeting, saying that the partnership between the countries will be further strengthened. He also referred to Mercosur’s negotiations with other regions and countries, emphasising that Mondino is satisfied with their development. The Brazilian minister expressed optimism about working together with the current Argentine government and the future Milei government, emphasising the common interest in promoting Mercosur.
