Representatives of Russian media took part in a press tour organised by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia. Throughout an extensive programme, they became acquainted with the culture and economy of Chinese cities and learnt about the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summits held in China in 2018 and 2025.
The cultural programme of the tour included trips on high-speed trains and visits to landmarks such as the ancient streets and Ferris wheel of Tianjin, the three Confucian sanctuaries of Qufu, the Confucius Museum, and the SCO International Centre in Qingdao. The delegation also visited Tianjin Port, the Luban Workshop exhibition hall, and the sailing base of the Olympic Park. Special attention was given to the film industry – participants toured a major film studio in Qingdao.
Meetings were also held with representatives of the Tianjin Foreign Affairs Office, the China–Russia Media and Expert Dialogue, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee, and the Director of the China–SCO International Economic Cooperation Zone Administration.
TV BRICS was represented on the press tour by Evgeniya Tolstoguzova, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department at TV BRICS, who emphasised the importance of such initiatives in strengthening mutual understanding between Moscow and Beijing.

Among the participants in the press tour were also representatives of the Russian Union of Journalists, the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, the Russian National Museum of Music, and major national media outlets.
