Egypt is seeking to attract more investment from Saudi Arabia to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
Hassan El Khatib, the Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, met with the Saudi ambassador in Cairo to discuss opportunities to increase investments. This is reported by

El Khatib stressed that Egypt creates a favourable climate for investors and is ready to support Saudi companies. He suggested developing a plan to increase the number of Saudi investments in Egypt.
The Saudi ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to expand its investment presence in Egypt.
