Over 12 million jobs are created in India in 10 years
This number is higher than the previous decade
Between fiscal years 2014 and 2023, 12.5 million jobs were created in India. This is more than four times the 2.9 million in the previous decade (2004-2014), as reported by IANS, a partner of TV BRICS.
It Waste stated in a study by the State Bank of India (SBI) that total number of jobs generated in manufacturing and services stood at 8.9 million in 2014-2023, up from 6.6 million in the previous decade
According to analysts, the number of people working in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has crossed the 200 million mark. Experts point out that the number of high-paying jobs has increased.
