Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Both Presidents expressed mutual interest in further deepening the successfully developing strategic partnership between Russia and Brazil in all major areas. This is reported by
the official website of the President of Russia.

In particular, it was agreed to continue close co-operation between the two countries, taking into account Russia’s chairmanship of BRICS and Brazil’s presidency of the G20 this year.

Brasil
holds the G20 chairmanship since December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024.
