The Song of Our Motherland 2023 International Media Tour is successfully held in Indonesia

The main purpose of the event was to showcase the achievements of Chinese companies and highlight the mutually beneficial cooperation between China and ASEAN

The media tour, organised by China Daily and ASEAN-China Centre with the support of China Internet Development Fund, brought together journalists from leading media outlets in China and ASEAN countries. During the tour, participants visited the Cainiao Cikarang Logistics Parks in Jakarta, which was launched in July this year and is the largest Cainiao hub in Southeast Asia. This is reported by
China Daily, a partner of TV BRICS.

This logistics centre is designed to meet the needs of local business chains and international trade. Overseas Chinese, including Chinese students studying in Indonesia and Singapore, were also invited to the event to share their views on spreading Chinese culture and stories.

Li Jun, deputy editor-in-chief of China Daily, head of the delegation, said the interaction between the media and youth in China, Indonesia and Singapore has been greatly enhanced over the past decade, playing an important role in enhancing people-to-people understanding, cultural exchange and inheriting friendship between the countries.

The event aims to better utilise the role of media and youth as a bridge to reveal their role as bridge and communicators in strengthening China-Indonesia partnership.
